I recently used Computer Cures to get us fix our dodgy wifi and get us set up on the NBN – fantastic service!!

For a very reasonable fee (tax deductible if you’re working from home!), Paul will come to your home, check your current internet speed, provide options for equipment, plants etc and get you sorted fast! I was putting off moving to the NBN because of the myriad of options and confusing jargon – Paul explained everything in layman’s terms and just made everything easy. We’re now on the medium NBN plan and have 9 times the download speed than before – would happily recommend!

Completed a full renovation of an old home and the standard wireless network just wasn’t working. Paul came in and installed 4 new wireless access points, connected tv’s, printers, Sonos, and other bits of tech. Made a big difference straight away. There were a few very technical niggles that were not solved straight away but Paul did not give up. A couple of extra visits (and no doubt a bit of research) later and every last detail is working perfectly. I would never have been able to do this on my own. Thank you.

Edward replaced the hard drive in our iMac. The turn around was quick and the service was excellent. Edward explained what he had done and took the time to show me around the updated operating system. If we ever need computer support again we will definitely call Edward. Highly recommend his services.

It is such a pleasure speaking with IT techs who actually KNOW what they are doing. My computer had slowed and memory degraded and I needed to get it changed to a solid state drive. I could tell that Edward Carter was clearly a trustworthy professional from the first call. (There are too many “idiot geeks” out there! I’ve seen them and I would never allow them to mess around with my computer.) Not only did he do a terrific job on my computer (yay! it’s fast, and it has TONS of memory now), but he has also undertaken the task of exploring the possibility of getting hold of the Extended Security Upgrade (ESU) for Windows 7. He understood what the ESU was – unlike the idiots I had to deal with that were supposedly official Microsoft Support.

It is extremely difficult for small business to get quality IT support. I am really glad to have found Computer Cures. They are now my go-to people.

Starting from the introductory email acknowledging my request, Computer Cures has only exceeded my expectations. Their incredible customer service paired up with superb technical expertise is commendable, but their biggest and most impressive achievement was the honesty in which they conduct business. We have quite a large multi-level house and ever since the NBN was installed we have had problems with the wifi dropping out in parts of the house and being non-existent in others. Paul was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from the moment I first spoke to him on the phone. He came and did his on-site assessment, told me exactly what was required (and the cost) and then came and did the work when he said he would. Our wifi is now perfect in every room of the house and even works outside the back of the house! We can now stream Kayo, Netflix and other programs directly to our TV screens from our phones with no lags or drop-outs. Paul stayed at our place until he was certain everything was working 100% and explained it all to me in plain English. His customer service is exceptional and I highly recommend him for your home IT needs.

Paul and Edward, the mac experts saved my day!

We had our beautiful mac refused to start all of a sudden. In the midst of our busy season, we couldn’t afford losing a single second.

Taken my iMac to Edward, he immediately made the right diagnosis and had the faulty HDD replaced with a super fast SSD!

Within a afternoon, our iMac is up and running again. I cannot stress how professional and efficient they are.

Have had many CDs loaded onto my computer with the Sonos system some years ago, controlled by an Ipad. The system failed for unknown reason many months ago. Despite telephone conversation with Sonos, there was no resolution to the problem.

Paul arrived promptly after an influenza-like illness caused some delay. He found that the problem was an outdated Ipad which could not be upgraded to the most recent Sonos application. He was then able to transfer the controlling mechanism to my Iphone. The system has been working very well thereafter.

For yet another Techno-Dinosaur like me as one of his clients, this was wonderful.

Paul was easy to relate to and almost a friend by the end of the consultation.
