My WiFi in the double brick, single-front terrace house has always been poor in the far rooms, even with extenders. I’d put off tackling it as I thought the solution might be expensive cabling. To my very great relief, Fred was able to diagnose the issue of old software and swapped around cords and had the flexibility of time to stay until the work to update and reconfigure was done.

Fred who attended our house, was very knowledgeable and thorough with his solutions for our wifi black spots.

I am very impressed with the professional service provided by computer cures. My first positive experience was the initial conversation with Paul over the phone. He took the time to listen to my internet issues, and he was able to assure me that a solution could be provided to my slow wifi and weak wifi signal in the middle and back of the house.

The technician Fred Khan was fantastic. He provided a networked solution which utilised my dormant cabling in the wall cavities to create a wifi coverage which is consistently around 100 mbps through my entire four bedrooom house, with no weak spots. Previously, the back rooms could not receive a wi fi signal.

Fred also explained the science and rationale behind everything that he did, in easy to understand “ laymans terms”. And the best part was that Fred was a very likeable person, very funny and friendly. He is a treasure.

Have been using Computer Cures for a few years now and have found them to be the best in the business. Luke set up my new Dell computer recently and it wasn’t an easy job as there was alot of document transfers to do, copy my email address, photos, security and Windows 11 to be set up as well. I had full storage on my computer which was affecting it’s performance, and also lost my emails! Another IT person tried using Team Viewer but it was unsatisfactory. Luke came onsite and freed up lots of space, and found all my emails. He was also very happy to explain what he was doing, and made some suggestions.

Luke Thomas (and Paul) are magnificent. Luke and Paul solved a thorny problem with hardware and my internet provider with a brilliant and correct ‘diagnosis’, calm perseverance, professionalism, and friendliness. I could not recommend Computer Cures (and Luke) more highly.

I had a Microsoft software and printer issue which other “experts” gave up on; Luke solved them quickly with great perseverance; I wholeheartedly recommend Luke and Computer Cures.

Fred was brilliant. He clearly has in-depth knowledge of I.T. systems and was able to complete my transfer to the NBN in a way I didn’t fully understand – no surprise there – which avoided any unnecessary interaction with my ISP.
