I’d like to thank the technician who came to my elderly parents home and sorted the connectivity issues. I had feedback from my 80yo dad that the technician was kind and explained in simple language the issue (he still didn’t follow…but appreciated the effort). They can now watch Antiques Roadshow and any TV show without constant dropouts.FYI - it wasn’t a layperson fix: I tried.Highly recommend especially for vulnerable clientele.

Fantastic and prompt service. He was knowledgeable and not only replaced the battery ( as booked) but checked a peripheral that wasn’t working and uploaded a free piece of software for me. I would book him again. Very professional.

From my first phone call I felt relaxed and confident with getting them to help me when I got a "blue screen" notice on my computer.Jas came to my home, checked it over, and had to take it away to have a new hard drive installed. The next day was phoned with the great news all went smoothly and it could be returned to me! He delivered it back to my home, and I could not be happier with how it is like a new computer and a pleasure to use.Thank you guys!

It was great to find Computer Cures! As a recently retired CEO I found myself struggling with some of those systems which hitherto I was privileged to have ‘someone from IT’ sort out for me. A hard drive died, my calendar would not sync with my email…suddenly my life was out of control lol!! Paul listened to my angst (poor Paul..) and diagnosed the problem immediately.He then arranged for Luke to attend the following day to sort the issues. Over the last couple of days I had received many unsolicited authentication codes to my phone. I had tried to get help from a number of computer places with no success. I contacted Computer cures regarding my broken laptop. One of their engineers got back to me quickly and was very transparent regarding them being unlikely to successfully repair my device. Not only did they give me a recommendation for a company that would be able to, they called up beforehand and explained my enquiry to the referring repair company which I greatly appreciated.

I had purchased a new computer and attempted to transfer files plus emails from my old one. Computer Cures were recommended as a good option to clean up a mess and they certainly did. Not only did they make sure all files and emails were transferred correctly, they sorted my security and other areas that were not working correctly, even on my old computer. First class service, they know what they are doing and how to handle a dinosaur like me. Great value, true professionals.

If you need your computer fixed FAST these are the guys to turn to!!! After a long and frustrating 'illness' my ancient (10+ years) desktop computer finally died. Paul and Madu quickly came to the rescue, retrieving all my photos, files etc off the old hard drive and installing a new replacement drive.The interior was cleaned thoroughly and a failing part inside fixed. My computer was ready to be returned 48 hours later. They were very flexible with times for computer pickup and return (they came to my house.) Paul was great - we discussed my computer's symptoms and he explained clearly what could be done, and he took my call after business hours as I'd been unable to phone during the day. From the very beginning I felt like we were in good hands with Computer Cures. Paul was excellent over the phone and really took the time to understand our wifi issues and the layout of our house. Luke, the technician, was also superb. Called ahead because he could come earlier than planned, and worked diligently through our issues and my many questions! Managed to work with the equipment we had, and gave use much stronger wifi signals than we thought possible. We also have options up our sleeve if our existing equipment doesn’t hold up. Cannot tell you how relieved we feel to have reliable tech people solving issues in person in our home, rather than spending hours and hours on the phone (with no success)! Computer Cures have been my go to for all things computer for a number of years now and never fail to save me! After nearly 20 years (with a couple of re-builds along the way) my computer decided to die last week, great timing with Christmas around the corner, but Paul and Darryl were able to help me. Their service is so fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Within a week, they got me a brand new desktop and managed to save everything from my old computer and set up and install the new one. I booked Computer Cures to do a service/tune-up as my laptop computer was running a little slow/crashing every now and then randomly freezing up for no reason at all.Luke the technician worked on my laptop and removed some of the apps that I didn't need to be there in the background running as they were slowing down my laptop computer as he explained, and fixed up the popups and the error messages that were coming on etc.The communication with Luke was great and extremely clear. Luke took the time to explain different things about the system. I couldn't be happier with his service and I will use them again for any computer troubles or also setting up my new a computer in the feature.The knowledge and professionalism, advice, dedication towards solving problems and I have no hesitation in recommending his services to family and friends. These guys blew my expectations with their incredible service. I was having some really strange WIFI issues which was driving me crazy as my internet provider was no help at all. Wow, is saying it mildly.You think you are future proofing a new house with wiring only to find the wifi is sub-standard. I've bought everything under the sun from extra routers to wifi extenders only to be disappointed.Until NOW.The guys from Computer Cures have wired wifi hot spots around the house that enable wifi speeds the SAME as a PC. I am blown away!!!They even serviced my NAS, found hidden data that has been filling my PC hard drive and fixed up my other ethernet wiring issues.These guys do it all and they are so courteous to boot.They certainly cure my computer needs!!! 10/10

Luke did a great job setting up my new computer and transferring programs/files from the old machine. In a couple of hours I was enjoying the increased efficiency of an updated machine. There were a couple of hiccups with incompatible older programs, but these were sorted out on the spot. And then some issues I discovered later were solved and quickly put right in a remote hook-up with Paul. Their knowledge and professionalism makes Computer Cures my 'go-to' for computer and wi-fi problems - unbiased professional advice, prompt friendly service, and reasonable prices are an unbeatable combination. Last week Fred came to my house to transfer my phone data to my new iphone 12. He did it quickly and efficiently. My computer issues were more troublesome, but after following process after process he fixed it all. Recently I was searching for assistance regarding advice on updating audio visual equipment for my new smart TV. I'm located in Sydney and couldn't find a suitable-sounding company until I came across Computer Cures and of course I subsequently found out Computer Cures are located in Melbourne! This has happened to me in the past with other specialist businesses. In this instance all I could find were businesses wanting to repair, install antennas, install home theatres etc.I lucked out when I connected with Katee from Computer Cures who went out of her way to assist. In fact her assistance was quite extraordinary both on the phone, calling back and then following through with information she sent via email. I recently had my son’s computer breakdown with hard drive issues. Not great for a gaming high schooler. I dropped it into Paul and his team at Computer Cures, where they quickly diagnosed the problem, then went on to fix it in a very quick time frame. Booked for a battery change, but when Al arrived he not only checked and replaced the battery, he checked my peripherals to check something that wasn’t working correctly and noticed I didn’t have certain piece of software, so uploaded a free version for me. He went beyond what I ordered. He was prompt and knowledgeable. I would ring him next time I need something.

Computer issues at a difficult time

My computer was running very slowly but on Xmas Day it was infected with a virus, an extremely difficult time to have these problems.

Computer Cures noted my issues and promptly Al Bhalwani contacted me and made a appointment for the following day.

He arrived promptly, diagnosed the issues and took the computer for repairs, he returned the following work day, computer repaired and explained the problems in easily understood terms.

His promptness, expertise and friendly manner were first class.
