Multi-function printer setup – eg: get all the print, photocopy, fax and scan functions working properly
Automated scanning to PDF setup, a very useful setting that will save you a lot of time
Setup a separate scanner if you’ve purchased one of these

We’ll walk you through the printing and scanning processes step-by-step, so you’ll have no issues operating the printer yourself.

Yes, we can setup your new printer, connect it to wireless, install the printing software, connect it to your devices, and teach you how to use it.

My printer is printing very poorly, can you help?

Your printer may have clogged heads, run out of ink, software driver issues, alignment issues, or some other fault.

Can you setup ‘Scan to Email’ and ‘Scan to PDF’ function for me?

Yes, depending on the printer model you have purchased. We can setup these scanning features up for you.

Can I print wirelessly from my iPad or iPhone?

We always recommend purchasing a printer with ‘Air Print’. This allows seamless wireless printing from iPads and iPhone. If you printer does not have this feature, there are other ways to print wirelessly from your devices.

What is the best printer for my needs?

Give us a call, to have a chat about your printing and scanning needs. Features to think about when purchasing a new printer, include double-sided printing, colour or black and white, inject or laser, wireless or network connectivity, high-capacity inks or toner, and cost of consumables.

What is the difference between an inkjet printer and a laser printer?

An inject printer uses liquid inks to print, and a laser printer uses powder to print. Inject printers are cheaper to purchase, but their consumables cost more compared to a laser printer.

Is it best to connect my printer via wireless or connect directly via my network?

If your printer is near your NBN modem or network switch, we generally recommend hardwiring it into your network. Otherwise wifi is fine, however the wifi in your property must be powerful enough, so you can print from anywhere in the home. If you find wireless printing unreliable give us a call, so we can fix this for you.

If you need your computer fixed FAST these are the guys to turn to!!! After a long and frustrating 'illness' my ancient (10+ years) desktop computer finally died. Paul and Madu quickly came to the rescue, retrieving all my photos, files etc off the old hard drive and installing a new replacement drive.The interior was cleaned thoroughly and a failing part inside fixed. My computer was ready to be returned 48 hours later. They were very flexible with times for computer pickup and return (they came to my house.) From the very beginning I felt like we were in good hands with Computer Cures. Paul was excellent over the phone and really took the time to understand our wifi issues and the layout of our house. Luke, the technician, was also superb. Called ahead because he could come earlier than planned, and worked diligently through our issues and my many questions! Managed to work with the equipment we had, and gave use much stronger wifi signals than we thought possible. We also have options up our sleeve if our existing equipment doesn’t hold up. I booked Computer Cures to do a service/tune-up as my laptop computer was running a little slow/crashing every now and then randomly freezing up for no reason at all.Luke the technician worked on my laptop and removed some of the apps that I didn't need to be there in the background running as they were slowing down my laptop computer as he explained, and fixed up the popups and the error messages that were coming on etc.The communication with Luke was great and extremely clear. Wow, is saying it mildly.You think you are future proofing a new house with wiring only to find the wifi is sub-standard. I've bought everything under the sun from extra routers to wifi extenders only to be disappointed.Until NOW.The guys from Computer Cures have wired wifi hot spots around the house that enable wifi speeds the SAME as a PC. I am blown away!!!They even serviced my NAS, found hidden data that has been filling my PC hard drive and fixed up my other ethernet wiring issues.These guys do it all and they are so courteous to boot.They certainly cure my computer needs!!! 10/10

Luke did a great job setting up my new computer and transferring programs/files from the old machine. In a couple of hours I was enjoying the increased efficiency of an updated machine. There were a couple of hiccups with incompatible older programs, but these were sorted out on the spot. And then some issues I discovered later were solved and quickly put right in a remote hook-up with Paul.
